How we handle your information.
Short, honest, and human. You deserve to know what we do with what you share.
What we collect
We only collect what you give us directly:
- Email address, when you sign up for the letter.
- Name, email, and payment details, when you reserve a seat at a gathering or order from our shop. Payment happens on Stripe’s secure checkout; we never see or store your card number. Shop orders also include the shipping address you give Stripe, so we can send your package.
- Anything you write to us, notes sent through our contact form or emailed to hello@becomingbeautifully.com.
How we use it
- To send you the letter you signed up for.
- To confirm your reservation, share gathering details, and send a reminder or two before the date.
- To write back when you write to us.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not build profiles on you.
Who helps us run this
We use a small number of trusted services to keep the business running. Each of them has its own privacy policy:
- Netlify hosts this website and receives what our forms collect: the letter signup, notes you send through the contact and reserve forms, and a record of each completed order.
- Stripe processes payments when you reserve a seat or order from our shop, and sends your receipt.
- Our email provider delivers the letter and any direct replies from us.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not set advertising cookies and does not use third-party tracking pixels. If we add privacy-friendly analytics in the future (Plausible or Fathom), we’ll note it here. Neither of those tools tracks individuals across the web.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from the letter. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. One click, and you’re out.
- Ask what we have on you. Write to us and we’ll tell you.
- Ask us to delete it. Write to us and we’ll remove you from everything we hold. Records kept by our booking and payment partners follow their own policies.
